Which transport to choose
A comparison by transit time, weight and price — so you know what you pay for
| Transport | Transit | Weight | Cost | When to choose |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Road | 3–10 days | up to 60 t | medium | Europe, oversize, door-to-door delivery |
| Sea | 20–45 days | unlimited | lowest | Asia and the USA, large batches, when timing is flexible |
| Rail | 8–25 days | up to 70 t | lower than road | China and Europe, heavy cargo, a compromise of price and speed |
| Air | 1–7 days | up to 5 t | highest | Urgent spare parts, production downtime, valuable cargo |
Dimensions and permits
Cargo becomes oversize as soon as any single limit is exceeded — then permits are required
Width
No permit up to
2,55 м
Above this a permit is required, over 3.5 m — escort
Height
No permit up to
4,00 м
Above this bridges and power lines must be checked
Length
No permit up to
22,00 м
Above this a dedicated route and turn approvals are needed
Gross weight
No permit up to
40 т
Above this axle load calculation and a permit are required
Not sure about your dimensions? Send the machine model and photos — we will find the specifications ourselves.
Trailers and platforms
We match the trailer to the exact weight and dimensions of your machine
| Type | Capacity | Platform (L × W × H) | Typical cargo |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lowbed trailer | до 60 т | 13,6 × 3,0 × 0,45 м | Excavators, bulldozers, mobile cranes |
| Extendable platform | до 40 т | 13,6–21,0 × 2,55 м | Steel structures, turbine blades, trusses, pipes |
| Modular trailer | 60 т і більше | від 15,0 × 3,5 м | Transformers, reactors, presses |
| Curtain-side trailer | до 22 т | 13,6 × 2,45 × 2,7 м | Pallets, groupage, spare parts |
| Container chassis | до 30 т | 20 / 40 футів | Containers, flat rack for oversize |
How an oversize shipment runs
Six steps from measurements to unloading at your site
01
Measurements and photos
You send dimensions, weight and photos. If you lack data, we explain what and how to measure.
02
Choosing the transport
We calculate which trailer fits by weight and dimensions and whether an extendable platform is needed.
03
Route and permits
We plan the route accounting for bridges, tunnels and power lines, and obtain oversize permits.
04
Loading and securing
Crane or self-propelled loading, a securing plan for the specific machine, photo report before departure.
05
Escort on the road
Escort vehicles and, when required, police. Cargo status is visible in your account and Telegram.
06
Unloading and payment
We unload at your site. You settle up after the machine is already yours.
What affects the cost
Understanding these factors helps you save already at the planning stage
Dimensions and weight
The main factor: the further beyond the norm, the pricier the trailer and permits
Route and countries
Number of borders, toll roads, detours due to bridge limits
Permits and escort
Beyond-norm dimensions require permits in every country and escort vehicles
Urgency
A next-day departure costs more than a planned loading in a week
Insurance
Basic liability is included, extended insurance is optional
Loading and unloading
Whether a crane is available on site or the machine drives on by itself
Documents we prepare
All we need from you is an invoice and company details — the rest is on our team
- CMR — international consignment note
- Customs declaration and T1 for transit
- Oversize transport permit
- Cargo securing plan
- Cargo insurance policy
- Invoice and packing list

Frequent questions about oversize
From what weight is cargo considered oversize?
It is not only weight: cargo becomes oversize when any limit is exceeded — width 2.55 m, height 4 m, length 22 m or gross weight 40 tonnes. One parameter is enough.
How long does a permit take?
Usually 2–5 working days per country. For complex routes with bridge approvals — up to 10 days. We start as soon as dimensions are confirmed.
What if I do not know the exact dimensions?
Send the machine model and photos — we will find the specifications ourselves. For non-standard structures we explain which measurements are needed.
Who is liable if the machine is damaged in transit?
We are. Carrier liability applies at every stage; we record the condition with photos before loading and after unloading. Extended insurance is available on request.
Can machinery be shipped disassembled?
Yes, and it is often cheaper: a removed boom or cab can take the cargo out of the oversize category and remove the need for permits. We will price both options.
